Problem: How do we get users to interact more with Foxnews.com when they don’t necessarily want to read political news and would like to share fun experiences with their friends?
Hypothesis: If we created a new Quizzes section on Foxnews.com, we could get users to come to the site, interact with the quizzes and share them with their friends. Therefor increasing users going to Foxnews.com, as well as gaining new users by people sharing their quiz experience.
Solution: I teamed up with a vendor Riddle.com and my Tech Team to implement the solution via iFrame code. Trained the Editorial Team on how to work within the Riddle Tool and then implement the code via the CMS.
Platforms: Quizzes are available across all platforms, OS and devices.
Highlights: Increased user engagement and time spent on the site. Quizzes has also become one of the more trafficked pages on the entire site.
